Fortunately, I have really thin hair on my arms that is barely visible. My friend Mita does not, and she shaves them. That seemed kind of odd, but I've heard that other people do it. Does anybody else do this and is it safe?
(Please ignore/delete the other thread. I posted twice by accident.) |

I have a bit or darker hair on my arms, but I don't shave it. The reason why people that shave their arms say it feels like it grow back thicker is because after you cut the hair, the flat/blunt side of the hair is exposed and pushed forward during growth.
Don't shave it unless you plan on keeping up with it frequently. It gets itchy and uncomfortable. |

Shaving your arms doesnt make it grow back any dark or coarser or thicker... Its a myth. Anyways, no I dont shave my arms.. cause I dont really care. haha |

Well, I did once when I was younger, but then I let it grow back because I thought my mom would get mad.
Then last year, this one kid kept making fun of me for having hairy arms. So it really got to me and I shaved them again... Then he just made fun of me for shaving my arms. So I kept up with it for awhile, but then Mom did get mad once she noticed... So yeah, it's back to the gorilla-like arms, but it did get really annoying to maintain. |
