I take too much abuse. How do you deal with it. I dont want to fight back, it only provokes the unbearable. Just looking for some advice. Thanks

What kind of abuse? Verbal? Physical? Not to be rude or anything, but can you be a little more specific.

You don't have to fight back with fists, just words. Stand up for yourself, don't just take the abuse. If you don't speak up, it will just keep happening.

abuse in general. it doesn't have to be specific, if you are being abused you have to deal with it one way or another regardless of what it is. so if you are gonna ask stupid questions just don't post.

^ That was not a *stupid* question. Reaction to abuse can absolutely be subjective to the *type* of abuse. Fighting back can be done via physical contact and verbal communication (and I'm sure in other ways as well).

And I echo what Chii mentioned - stand up for yourself. If you know you are being mistreated (whatever way that may be), than don't tolerate the mistreatment, especially if it has reached the point of abuse.

No reason to be rude...

Here are a few options: Get authorities involved. It's not something you can handle on your own. There are hotlines you can call to get help. Visit a psychologist or a therapist if it's really been bothering you. Break things off with the person that's abusing you. Do not allow them to make any contact with you. Focus on other things like friends, hobbies, family. If this person continues to harrass you, like I said, call the police.
