You save it as a .psd, it has that function... Uh, it's under the options for save.

but when i use it..it dont look like a psd..i look like a regular pic..

If the file name is .psd, it's a.psd.
If you're used to using the cut-outs, then you have to realize that .psd is just the format! You have to cut out the image yourself.
