for years, after school, harry had always stopped by to see his father at work. he had always loved the candy shoped that his father owned and would be happy to try free samples.
when harry entered junior high, he decided to stop going to his fathers shop. So his father brought a parrot for company. ----------------------------------------------------------- one day, harry's father had became ill and went to the hospital. harry was left to take care of the shop. so Harry started of by pouring the kisses in a jar. "hello" harry jumped, spilling a box of jawbreakers. it was the parrot. "where's harry?" "i'm right here you dumb bird!" harry mumbled. he continued stacking the candy. "miss him." "yeah yeah. whatever" "where's harry." "grrrrr!" "wheres harry?" "shut up." harry chucked a few seeds in the cage to shut him up. the parrot, however, didn't eat them and after a while, continued annoying him "wheres harry?" "what?" "wheres harry? miss him" "shut up!" "wheres harry? miss him" "I'M HERE YOU STUPID BIRD. IM HERE!" Harry grabed a fistfull of peppermints and threw them at the bird. the parrot screamed and clung to his perch. harry sobbed. "i'm here". the tears where coming. "father" "wheres harry?" harry sighed and wiped his face with his sleave. he looked at the parrot and understood. for a long time, somone was saying "wheres harry?" "miss him" harry finished his unpacking. he cleaned the shop and cheaked on the parrot. then he left the store and went to visite his father |
