Alot of people say your virginity is important, but is it really?. I don't understand why it's such a big deal I just lost my virginity not to long ago. && when I lost it. It wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be. I did it with the person I loved && I'm going to marry. I feel like if you love the person you're with & it's not a one night stand.. && you've been dating for awhile && you have a deep trust it's okay, but other than that then I think you need to set aside your priorities && ask yourself if this is the best possible choice for you not listening to those empty desires. I mean he was clean I was clean && we jusst took our relationship to a deeper level. Most people say it gets worse after sex when you're in high school b/c of the jealousy && you weren't ready for that kind of emotional stage, but it's brought me and my future husband closer not further apart. I mean I know that's what it's suppose to do, but it's brought us closer with trust && having it with one another I mean we had it before, but it made it stronger with the tie of sex. Now we do it like all the time like we're a married couple.

I thought I was going to marry the person I lost it to but I was horribly wrong, he is a true assh*le. However I'm not too upset about losing my viginity to him, I thought I was in love or at least felt in love at that time.
Girls think that it's a big deal because all of our life most of us have been told "no sex, no boyfriend, no this, no that." So when you actually do get the boyfriend and have sex, it's a big deal since it's kind of taboo. |

to me, virginity is very important because it's something that describe pure? It's something that money can't buy and also a gift from God. Most girls now days are influenced by medias and turn into $luts? But I personally think it's ment to be broken from a person that you will be forever with. Those party girls act like virginites is nothing but it's actually important because you can't be virgins again. It's once in a life time, and wouldn't you want to give it to someone who is important enough or reward that person that you saved your whole life for? Maybe i'm wrong to some of you guys. You might say "well,if he loves me then even if i'm a virgin or not he shouldn't care" and i don't doubt that he would care if he loves you. But i'm pretty sure in his mind, he doesn't want the one he loves sleeping with a lot of other guys. If you love him, you'll wait for him.
 p.s. please don't say well she/he is my future wife/husband. You never know so don't put all your hopes in it. What if you guys broke up? I...I thought the girl that I lost my virginity to is my future wife. I thought that we would spend our whole life together. But I guess times changed people changed... She broke up with me for another guy... I was mad that my love for her is for real but I lost it to some stupid player! |

i think its important. I mean, one can't just go around sexing it up with just about anyone. I think a person should wait for there own personal "right time" and think it over before having it for the first time. And i guess as long as you're "having it" with someone you trust and love then its okay.

I think your virginity is very important. You can only lose it once, and when you do, you can't get it back. No matter what your first time experience is, I'm sure it'll always be one you will remember. Might as well make it a good memory, right?

I think it's meant to be saved for someone very important. Not your current bf/gf, because you're not guaranteed to stay together forever. I mean, there's only so many possibilities as to what would happen to you if you lost your virginity. There's the one night stand, ignoring you, being too clingy, craving it 24/7, and if you lose it when you're young, you could get pregnant and you're probably not ready to take care of a baby.

actually its possible to have your parts reconstructed so if you were raped or something or you want to cherish the moment with someone new.. doesnt seem worth it though because you pay to get it redone and then the healing time just to go back and ruin it.
but yes, virginity is important depending on your views. |

I don't think that it's the virginity that's important to keep, just that, you don't want to just jump into something like that. It requires a lot of trust and if you're not with the person for a long time and you don't really know them that well, it can be really awkward afterwards. It's a big emotional step; not just physical.

they take what you can't get back, i think its something that should be valued like everyone else has already stated. its better to lose it when you're a bit older and mature to fully understand some relationships don't last forever, especially when you're young. save yourself from heart break and emotional baggage. i still believe true love waits.

personally, i want to try to wait to marriage.
of course the fact that i'm straight-edge affects that, but i've had friends that have had sex with a guy just to have him break up with them the next day, and i really don't want that to happen to me. realistically i know that as a teenager, things happen, go farther than expected, and people end up having sex. but i just want to be with someone i truly love before having sex. whether it be now, or 50 years from now. (that & i has this big fear of getting pregnant out of wedlock....  )

As long as you lose it to someone you love, then I think it is fine to do so unmarried. It is important to feel comfortable with the person and to not regret it.
