Ignore the Ipod caption, that was just to get you over here.
Well, back to the topic. About 3 days ago, (out of the blue) my boyfriend asked me what the purpose of our previous break was. After I told him, he said "Oh. I think we need one." I was confused at this, because, nothing was going wrong this past week. We were fighting at all. In fact, we were laughing and having fun. He told me that he hasn't been happy this week and he doesn't know why, but he thought we needed a break. *** Skipping the extranious details *** Though this whole "break" thing confuses me. He came over yesterday morning and we cuddled and what not. After he left, I went outside and saw him at the park. We were very affectionate. But after I went home and signed online, we got into a little arguement. He said, "well we are on a break." and "yet, I'm still feeling whipped" All this has gotten me very confused  What does he mean by this "break"?---EDIT--- And there's also this: QnZ GrEaTeSt 92: what are you doing tody QnZ GrEaTeSt 92: today x tainted S0UL: nothing yet QnZ GrEaTeSt 92: oh QnZ GrEaTeSt 92: ok x tainted S0UL: why do you ask? Like priyas said, he just needs time to think over the relationship. If he takes too long though, then it might be time for you to end things completely. This is what happened with me and my boyfriend. He wanted a break, so I was OK with that, and it was like 2 weeks later and I asked him if he still loved me. When he said no, I just ended it. Haha, then he became completely bitter and started calling me names (after he had used some girl as a rebound)...

What were the reasons you stated as to why you had a break previously? The answers should be in there. Is something that caused the previous break going on now? What were the stipulations about your previous break?
I think he just wants to feel like he has a girlfriend yet not feel tied down. He likes the lovey dovey stuff with you but at the same time, he wants to be free and/or not do the lovey dovey stuff all the time. |

whatd u say when he asked you about the previous break? and i think he just wants a little time away from the relationship..maybe just not hang out with him for a few days and itll be better ..im a girl but i think id like to be apart for a bit to be free.. just give him some space for a bit i guess.. hope it works out =]

You really want this to work out, you're trying to make it work and trying to be civil and optimistic about your relationship but he's basically just like "it's not happening." I don't like seeing anyone treated this way  Maybe this break will be good for you two. Just try to keep away from being affectionate with him so you don't get your heart broken later. During this break, you should try to boot him from your top priorities list. It's kind of like preparing for life without him. I'm not saying break up with him right now, but just try to see what life will be like without him. Then when the break is over, you'll have a clear head of what you want without all the "I'm so in love" stuff in the way and hopefully he'll know what he wants. |

I don't know how much more I can take. Ok, seriously, what the hell? This is just my opinion, but that guy is a total jerk. He doesn't care about your feelings, and you can see he really doesn't want a relationship at the moment. If I were you, I would totally dump him. And the whole part where he says "um that's kind of gay"? Wth is that? A good guy would want to do anything with you, as long as he could spend time with you. If you're at the point where you are saying "I don't know how much more I can take" it's probably time to end things. I would say give him one more chance, and if he still acts like a jerk, then leave him. It's cliché, but there are other fish in the sea. (And this is all just my opinion. I'm normally an angry person, so you probably want to consider what I'm saying but just do what you feel is right.) I hope this helps. |
