Due to our reduced number of staff members, cB is hiring. The current staff members will compile a list of names they believe will be a great addition to the team in this thread. You do not have to apply, but please remember that to be considered for a nomination, you must

• be a createBlog member for a minimum of 2 months
• be an official member/official designer
• have 7 ppd before applying for a People staff position, 5 ppd for a Design staff position (unless exceptionally qualified)

Please discuss the nominations and voice your opinion here, and do not spam!!

Oh, yes. You can add names you think are good candidates for nomination. It doesn't mean they will be nominated though.

Again, keep in mind that this thread is just for discussion; the ideas posted in this thread are not nominations or votes.

I'll just dive in with a little commentary:

Rachael (digital fragrance) would make a wonderful choice as a mod for Xanga for so many reasons. She's constantly contributing, advising and helpful.

I think Chii would make a great choice for People Staff because she's always taking the time to go beyond the 5-10 word post to reply with something truly thought out and sincere. She's also eloquent and attentive.

I'm not sure in which moderating capacity he would fit in (Xanga or My Space that is), but I notice that Mikestah is very helpful and contributes a lot as well.

More than likely I'll edit and add more, but right now those are my thoughts.

Rachel (digital.fragrance) would be a real good addition to xanga staff, as I've seen her posts in the xanga forum (which are really helpful.) Actually, I thought she was xanga staff already.

Rebecca (zatanna), although I don't really know her, all I've seen is that she's nice, polite, and firm when she needs to be. I'd like to see her on people staff.

Naomi, like Rebecca is polite and has good people skills. She's been around for quite a long time. I still remember the first time I met her on cB. She deserves a spot.

Rachel (rachel is love) should be on. 'nuff said.

James has been here on and off sometimes, but he knows how cB works, since he does by-laws, and I think he would do well also.

If you sound desperate, it's likely that you won't be modded. Everyone, don't treat the staff title as something like this great achievement. It's not like, an award or something. Not a big deal. So just callllm down. If you're not chosen for staff or even nominated, it's no sweat. You shouldn't be freaking out trying to get on staff...you should simply want to help out, not want to simply have the title. Nyarrr.
