Not quite sure what your problem is... could you re-word it? Anyway, you need to paste your xanga code so we can see it.

(the footer) beneath my left column modules, blogs, and right column modules is a space of about 60 or 70 pixels that i would like to get rid of essentially causing the user to not be able to scroll past the white border of the blogs etc.; i need a code to accomplish this... (i know you can do this at the top with a div code but it's pointless because obviously xanga places the ad on top of whatever you just moved to the top of the page) please help... you shouldn't need my code for this...

To be honest, I've never seen this done with the regular layout. I don't think you can do that to your page.

I would think you could do so... this code:
CODE
<div style="left:0; top:0; position=absolute;">
moves the page to the top; but i tried switching it to say bottom and it doesn't work. So......... Has anyone ever seen this done?

^Right - all div codes are based off the top and left sides of the browser. That's why I've never seen it done.

I half way accomplished it... if you use a div code with
CODE
overflow-y:hidden
and get the right amount of pixels it will work; the probem is that it also applies it to your comments page usually cutting off half the comments...

sorry... i'm not currently using the code... used a few days ago

For firefox users... i love firefox also but have tried to stick with IE for previewing my site; I use an exension called IE Tab that lets you filter sites of your choice to always view with IE (on a tab of firefox.. sweet!) and it also lets you switch between the rendering engines with a single click. https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=1419
