ok, so just last week i got my bellybutton pierced. my friend's brother is a professional but he didnt give me anything to clean it with so i`ve been using ALCOHOL. after browsing through some of the topic discussions, i`ve learned that your NOT suppose to use alcohol.
its still kinda red but it doesnt hurt anymore and its not swollen.

what do i clean it with / how many times a day / and how do i know if its infected ?
HELP ! .. sorry if this has already been posted, i searched but still dont really know. =\

Definitely get to a piercing store ASAP to get some advice and buy some supplies. Belly button, and facial, piercings need to be looked after with extra extra extra care.

Several topics have been made about belly piercings:

And I'd recommend Betadine, it's what I've always used on new piercings. =)

I'm not really sure about the right way to clean a belly piercing since I don't have one. But I suggest you go to the place where you got it pierced, (or some other place that deals with piercings) and ask them about how you should really clean it. They might recommend some other products for you to use.
