My former best friend whom I haven't talked to in a long time came over to me at lunch and we did some small talk and catching up. When she suddenly said, "Wow! You know, you lost a lot of weight?"
Would you take that in a good or bad way? |

Haha!
 It always amuses me how people think of this as a compliment. I guess it's not the best thing you could say to a person, but it sounds like she thought of it as a compliment, and I'd take it as such and not worry about it.

It's your choice whether you want to take it as a compliment or an insult. If it were me, I'd go with the former.
