Things like this keep popping up on my computer. Is there a virus? I mean every time I either refresh or go to a new webpage something of this sort pops up, along with other stuff. And I'm using Firefox on Windows Xp Professional Corporate. The screenshot image is thumnailed.

Don't throw tomatos at me, but did you try running a virus scan? Also, did you google that particular message? Wait, nevermind that last sentence. Do you have a pop up blocker? It seems like it's just an advertisement (albeit a persistant one).

Yes, I've used my virus scanner, and I removed it. Firefox comes with a pop up blocker so I don't need another. Thanks for the help Zatanna. It stopped. This topic can be closed.

I've seen you're desktop in a thread and I do not think you have the recently updated McAfee. Yours look like the one I had about 2 or 3 years ago. The thing is if you don't purchase a new version, McAfee doesn't go up-to-date with the recent viruses going on right now.

Or maybe I just made that speech for nothing, because you don't use McAfee? =/

In another case, it could just be spyware.

^I use Mc Afee. I just bought it, and it's been updated recently. I've removed the virus and the adware and spyware. Thanks for taking out the time to try to help me Jonathan. _smile.gif
