This is something that has been talked about a lot in the Anime Otaku v.3 thread. So I decided to actually have this and try to have a wonderful night filled with anime.

About Anime Night
_ Anime night is basically where we all watch a anime either on youtube or you already have it. But we watch it all and then after we can either post in this thread about the anime or we make a chatroom in AIM and such and talk about it there.

Announcements
_ Anime night will be this friday March 17th,2006 at an unknown tim. We will release the time after discussion of when people are available.
_ We will be watching 2-3 different anime episodes. Judgining it will take about 1 hour 30 minutes to watch all 3 episodes and to talk about it even more time.
_ You do not have to stay for all of the 3 anime episodes. Even if you want you can choose which one you want to watch. Because I think we will watch anime in an orderly fashion.
_ I hope to use AIM for this kind because of its chatroom ability. Of course msn has the same but its very complicated and hectic compared to the AIM chatroom. So if you guys could please use AIM and if you don't have it. Then atleast download it for 1 night.

Anime We Will be Watching
1. Sailor Moon ( Due to popular request )
2. Mai Otome ( Due to my evil dictatorship )
3. Yet to be decided upon

_ Those are the bulletin crap that is to be read I hope ^^. Sailor Moon was put up there because people wanted to watch it sooo badly ^^. Since I have nothing against Sailor Moon I must go along with it. As well as Mai Otome, is a anime that I have been watching a lot recently and I know for sure you guys will enjoy it. I took shuffle out of it because although the begining is fun and all lovey dovey.. It becomes a anime which only real mature viewers should watch.

_ Other than that we will decide what time will be best for everyone here.
_ And we will decide which 3rd episode we should watch.

Please post up any questions or complaints you have on the matter. As well as other things asked for.

Good job on making this thread, Sammy.

As for the time, I think it would be good to start watching around maybe 9 or 10PM EST? Just a suggestion.

I have a question - Which episodes for 1 and 2? :)

Comments - AIM is fine with me and 9-10PM ish EST would work unless something comes up with my son. ;)

Yay Sailor Moon! I haven't watched #2, but I hope I have the time - I'm looking forward to this... that is if my parents decide Friday is family night..... or one of them takes over the computer. Argh. Can't wait until college when I'll have my own laptop with wireless connection.

#3? how about rurouni kenshin?? - I love that show! (it hasn't been on TV in a long time)

I'm trying to open up the horizon for most people to new anime's because if you notice people only seem to watch anime's that will intrest them because a friend says its fun. But what most people don't know is those animes that no one really recommends that has awesome stories. And people don't seem to notice these things until the series start coming to a finale and shows its real colors ^^.

Other than that Rurouni Kenshin will be put up there as a recommended anime.

Hmm so far we got 9-10pm est time which is 6-7pm Pacific Time

The times sound good - and yes, the most unknown anime are usually the best... it's almost a proven fact.

fridays a bad day for me too. since i am already watching all my anime's during that afternoon as well. which start at 8-10 but...how about some gundam seed destiny?! hehehe

I'm going to recommend Paradise Kiss. I watched the whole series yesterday on Youtube and it's amazing. It's what I call Shoujo du'jour. Fashion, romance, and drama. Haha. That's my suggestion.

YAY! sorry i wasnt able to make it. my damn brother hogged the computor x_x. and i went shoppin gin the states which took forever... damn fruits basket for not being out yet.
