Okay so me and this guy (we'll call him A to protect his ID) A have been getting really close lately hanging out everynight for the past week!! I even spent the night with him on Thursday at our friend(we'll call him T) T's house!! So he was like telling me to call him every night when i left and I did.....So then last night I called up my friend (we'll call him C) C to ask him what was up and he gave the phone to T and T told me that A had gone to Florida!! Now why wouldn't he tell me he was leaving the state!! Isn't that something you usually tell someone you are seeing!! It is just so wierd!! What is your opinion on this should I just shrug it off and say F you then or what!! Or should I just not tell him when I leave and go up to New York!! Or am I being to petty!!

Shrug it off. How serious are you? Evidently you haven't been going out for a long time. I don't always tell everyone I know when I leave on a trip.
Furthermore, before you jump to conclusions, maybe there is more to the story. Maybe he tried to contact you but couldn't. Maybe he doesn't have a phone with him. I'd just wait until he gets back to talk to him about it and find out what's up. Out of curiosity, if you don't mind my asking—how old are you two? |

I am 17 and he is 19(I think)
I have known him for about 4 or 5 months but we just recently started seeing each other on a relationship level and not as just friends like a week ago! |

i don't get it...why would he just tell your mutual friend instead of you, the girl he's seeing? it doesn't really matter what the situation is, if it was something big why didn't he tell you but tell T?
you should definately ask him about it as soon as possible before he can make up an excuse. if you gave me enough time, i could come up with an ironclad excuse. |

I talked to him today I called him and was like I heard you went to Florida!! And he said "yeah I'm helping Adam move back to Birmingham!" And then he told me about how the cops were trying to pin some crime on him and T and how he left town just before the cops came and talked to T!! I was like okay that sucks!! But I am pretty sure he wouldn't lie to me and believe me I know what gigantic assholes cops can be!! I absolutely hate them!! But anyways I still don't know when he is coming back but at least I now know what he is doing there.

I think he's probably bullshiting you.
I can't imagine how "leaving town" would be a viable option to escape the cops, when you're 19(?) and plan on arriving home soon. If they are "looking for him," they'll find him And, he said he went to help a friend move? So, was that just a coincidence that his friend was moving, and he had to split town to get away from the cops? And, why is he running from the cops in the first place? Cops have to come to town? You like... don't have cops in town? Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. |

you guys weren't officially going out or anything right? i mean all you said is that you guys were "getting really close lately" but if you two aren't together i don't see any reason why he SHOULD have told you..i mean he COULD have told you if he really cared about you...but yeah...i don't think he's really worth your time....you shouldn't be dealing with some guy that's getting involved with the police anyways....i would try to move on if i were you.

Sorry, grammar just bothers me sometimes. Well, if he's involved with the cops... why are you even wasting your time on him? Well I really don't know about the whole situation with the cops and shit but I don't know why he would lie to me about that. I mean he knows how much I hate cops and he might just be playing on my hate for them but I dun know. And further more I happen to know that the cops can pin something on you that you didn't do b/c of my cousins and shit that I don't really wish to discuss...but he called me last night at like midnight which either tells me that he is helping Adam b/c if he wasn't then he'd be out partying or it tells me that he just couldn't find a good party to go to...or i could just be being stupid about the whole situation. Further more since we really aren't an exclusive couple it makes the situation seem to matter less and makes him not telling me not as important as I may have made it seem earlier. I know it probably sounds like I'm just making up excuses for him but I don't know. Like I said he called me last night and told me that he is probably coming home today or tomorrow. And I asked him if he was gonna get in trouble with the cops and he said probably not b/c T didn't end up getting in trouble. But I don't know.
And Some of you are saying stuff about how him possibly being in trouble with the law should bother me and stuff but I don't know I really don't care about that kind of stuff so long as he didn't actually do what they say he did. Two of my most favorite people in the world have been to Juvenile Jails for about a year of their lives and I still love them and they have both never made me do anything that I didn't want to do either legal or illegal. okay I don't know if this entire comment makes any sense at all but this is just how I feel about the situation right now as in at 12:03 PM Wednesday March 8, 2006!! |

Seriously though - problems with cops are bad mmk? He didn't give you the courtesy of telling you was leaving, he's telling conflicting stories (or at least, there's a lot of coincidence if he's helping someone move AND bailing from the cops - what a multi tasker. /sarcasm) Just move on. |
