not really likein the green. and in the eye. theres a tinge of green also.the purple is pretty.and on the earring, theres a line of that color on top on her ear.and the lipstick looks a bit plain. but other than that..i think its good.

I don't realy like it. The green looks kinda saturated. The skin looks kinda gray-ish and the lips aren't .. nice looking? Eh, nice try, though.

o believe me she does.. and were judging your art work with honesty.. rolleyes.gif
well i dont like the left eye cause you got some green in the eye and i would of prefered if you colored the other cheek too.

It just doesn't do it for me but good try.

^ yeah i think so too, the green doesn't really go well, especially when its a sort of grayscale picture. but its looking good. _smile.gif

The green a blue is great!
I love the purple too, but I think you should've made it either green or blue.
I think you chose great colors, and it looks really good.

I understand your concept but I'd just like to say that I don't see a whole lot of difficulty going on with a surrealistic colourization. So a more precise eye for details will balance things out. Watch out for things like the feathered green/purple part running into the eye and the bit of yellow that seeps into the ear.

Also, if you're going to use surrealism as a theme, try out some other blending options other than color. Try color burn, linear burn, soft light...all of those. They'll give you more interesting looking colourizations.

Oh, and also, I think the blue part would look better if it was on top of the green, running along the side of her face and a little across the temple. But that's just my opinion.

^ What she said. :) I think you did a great job on the hair. But like Gigi said, if you're going for surrealism, do it full out. I love the green on the cheek by the way. (Actually I think all the colors look good)

I like surreal art, so I hope you post more. :)

I really like it, you did a great job. The only complaint is the cheek thing: it's only colored one one check and it does look a bit sloppy, like someone did her makeup wrong. However, I do love the concept and your creativity. I really liked it. :]

It is very creative. I actually like the rainbow-ness of it.
yeah. maybe you should color the right cheek. It might be hard, but it might look more non-empty.
I do like it. flowers.gif

Hm, my favorite would have to be the 1st one.
The colours are toned down a bit there, and I love her makeup as well.

It looks like she got hit in the face. The lips and bruise face kinda irk me. But great job on the earing and eyes. The eyes look cat-like ^_^
