is there a way to change the color of a picture background like if the background is white, could you make it black?

It'd be hard if the background was in diverse colors, but if it was only one color I guess you can use the magic wand tool, select the background, use the bucket and color it in.

What Szeh said or if there are several colors in the background, you could also use the pen or lasso tool to select the front part of the image, select inverse then bucket over that.

(I think that made sense) pinch.gif
