Ugh! You know what sux?
I'm like, in love with this one guy. And here's what sux about it: I actually had a huge chance with him, but I blew it because I was too shy to talk to him at all!

Ask any of my friends, they all say that it looked like he liked me, but I blew it.
And, the REALLY sucky part is that he now likes my BEST FRIEND! Agh! For Valentine's Day, my school was selling V-day lollipops that you can buy and send to someone. So, he sent one to my friend saying, "I like you a lot." Okay, I know that doesn't sound major at all, but its still like, a heart break 'cuz he likes my friend, and I can never have him, ever.

Ugh, this just sux...
Does anybody have some advice of how I can cope?

Guess it wasnt meant to be ;) to bad though :(
Ban him from your mind.. Go out, do alot of stuff with your friends that dont talk about him alot, tell your best friend you still like him, but you want to get over him...
And dont go blaming yourself! You cant change it now anyway.

Yea. Time is a healer...

not to be mean, but it kinda looks like you lost your chance. but does your friend like him back?
why don't you try forgetting about him, and move on the someone else?

hmm, first of all, are you sure it's "love"? that's a powerful word you're using there...i mean maybe the reason that you're having a difficult time letting it go is because you're thinking that it's the wrong thing. does that make sense? i mean sometimes things happen for a reason...you know? but, if you feel that you can't really let him go perhaps you should talk to him about it. i mean just ask him if he ever liked you at all, and if he did tell him that you liked him too, but you were just too shy to talk to him. THAT IS if your friend DOESN'T like him back, but if she does i would suggest you move on. i know it's hard but you never know what you're capable of unless you try wink.gif

I suggest you move on. If you missed a chance, you missed it. I guess this teaches you take chances when given, ne?

I agree with the others; it seems that you lost your chance. I guess if you don't want to lose him, the best you can do is stay in touch and stay friends with him. Act like it's no big deal. Time will heal your heart. flowers.gif good luck.

I dont see how you lost him huh.gif plus its even better now that your friends! theres 2 options you could use your friendship to get closer and then make him realize he has feelings for you. or 2 just value his friendship and get over crushing on him.eventually one day you might look back and realize you rather it be that you were just best friends and yah....

Oh yeah...I think you misunderstood or two words got mixed up for you.

I said:

he likes (my best friend)

You probably THOUGHT I said:

Hes like (my best friend)

So..yeah.

Talk to your friend, does she like him? If not then you have a chance. If so, then respectfully step down and let her have a chance with him, chances are they'll break up and you can try again. Find something to divert your attention from the situation.

i've been in the same exact situation.. but on the other side. my friend got soo mad at me when she found out her crush liked me. if she's a half-way decent friend, she won't let it go any further then just being friends with the guy. good luck, though.

girly don't worry. there are PLENTY of guys out there....there's still university....and work....and even clubs by the time you get old enough =)

having a relationship at a young age...is pretty pointless. Not to be mean. Things rarely ever work out in the end. Just...get good grades, get a good job, earn money, support yourself, get glammed up and the guys will come crawling to you ;)
