Despite what attributes I add to it, "kpossible is in your extended network" (blacktext12) won't change. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

are you using:
CODE .blacktext12 {codes_here;} ^between <style></style> tags

Yes, and no matter what text attributes I add it will not change.

You can't get rid of the text, you can only make it smaller. Continue editing it and change the size and color of it.
