Photoshop apparently likes Beyonce.

Your caps lock is on, or the brush is big and it just shows the crosshair/small thing.

LOL...my caps lock isn't on, the brush is just fine, and it IS showing the crosshair/small thing.

Question, is your picture at full-size? (use the magnifying glass to check.) wink.gif Happens to me sometimes. You might also want to reset the tool. Photoshop likes to save weird settings.

How large is the brush? If it's one of those huge ones, then it'll show this small dot thing.

Usually with brushes, and it's big/bold enough, it'll show the outline, but sometimes if it isn't bold enough, or is quite large it'll show the small thing.

"Standard"? Because when I open large images, it shinks them to fit in the workspace. &yeah. So if it's doing that, then the image just needs to be full-sized.
If it's just showing the dot thing, then it's fine tho. Just click the approx. area where you want the brush and it should show up fine. At least it does in Element's. It's be stupid if you were paying so much more and it didn't do that.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying. wink.gif Click on the magnifying glass and there should be a button saying "actual size" or something of the sort. Click on that, and your image should get bigger.
At least in Elements, the % at the top refers to the zoom/reduction of the image being shown. wink.gif So 50% means, like, that the image is being displayed at 50% of it's normal size.

No, no, we aren't telling you to change the size. We're telling you to look at your bar, above your workspace, and make sure your picture is at 100%.
