Why do people play it? Do you?

For people that don't know what it is, it's a game where you throw a quarter at somones knuckle as hard and as fast as you can and see who can last the longest without screaming.(it does cause bleeding)

I use to play it like this:

Person #1 balls up fists.
Person #2 does the same.

Person #1 holds out their fists.
Person #2 holds out their fists above person #1 fists.

Person #2 has to hit person #1s fists before person #1 moves them away. Preventing person #2 from hitting person #1s fists.

Rather hard to explain.

But I use to play it all the time on the school bus with my friend.
Great way to pass the time. ^____^

The hand clap games were also played on the bus. "Miss suzie had a steam boat, the steam boat had a bell" etc...

Go fish I played with my mother.
I never played poker as a child.
& baseball was another story.

There's nothing wrong with bloody knuckles.
There's a similar game, but it involves slapping of the hands, instead of hitting.
I can't remember the name. Meh, what can ya do?

Anyway, I played that once. I didn't bleed though. I just shot the coin at my friends fists. One of my friends went to Taco Bell with another friend and played bloody knuckles at one of the tables, and the kid with the bloodier knuckles wrote "DIP" on the DIRTY TABLE with his fist blood. Really nasty/gross. It probably got infected.

Bloody Knuckles is pretty damn fun, but I don't call it that.
I call it either 'Quarters' or 'Nickels', obviously depending upon the coin.
To me, Bloody Knuckles is the game where you just punch each other in the knuckles 'til someone bleeds, and the bleeder is the loser.

Anyway, I've never played what I call 'Bloody Knuckles.'
However, I've played Quarters/Nickels many times before.
I guess it sounds like a stupid thing to do, but it's actually pretty fun.

speaking of that choking game (which i played with my brother like 5 years ago, not no more though) there was a kid who did it by tying something around his neck, and then you loosen it before you pass out, well he did that but didnt loosen it and he ended up killing/hanging himself, friggin dumbass, if you do it, please do it with two people using your palms pressed into the sides of the neck....dont hang yourself, thats just dumb. and i dont play bloody knuckles, i did before, you only play because its a rush, kind of fun truthfully.

There are different ways to play bloody knuckles but most of the time object is to make the other person's knuckles bloody.

I think it's a pretty stupid game. I'd rather save my knuckles for when I really need them.

But the guys used to love to play this game,
and I'd join in for fun, since all the other girls were scared.
The guys went easy on me though.

at my school, bloody knuckles is when people just slam their fists together with someone else until one of them says stop. (the who says stop loses)

the game you are talking about we call quarters. two people do one round of rock, paper, scissors. the loser forms their hand into a fist and presses their hand on a table with their knuckles resting on the table. then the winner of the round puts their hand in such a way that their fingers act as a sling-shot and thrust the quarter into the other person's knuckle/s.

i never ever would and have played bloody knuckles. it freaks me out. But my friends play it during lunch at school. But instead of using a quater; they just like throw punches at each others knuckles. It looks painful as heck. They end up like red and with swollen hands&blackandblues.
