So yea I went and saw Van Helsing the other day and I must say the movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It sort of reminded me of some video games I have played in the past such as Castlevania crossed with Nightmare Creatures.

Basically to give you a quick run down of the movie...Van Helsing must put a stop to Dracula and his ways before he can take over the world. Yet the only twist to it is that Dracula can't die just any old way with a stake in the heart or holy water. Van Helsing must figure out along with a slew of other cast members how to defeat Dracula and put a stop to his evil ways.

Van Helsing also fights other mythical demons and monsters in the movie such as Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde and even the werewolf (which I might add is friggin sweet looking in the movie.)

So I suggest it as a movie to go out and see if you are bored or can't figure out what movie to see I feel it is worth the money.

I give it a 4/5 happy.gif

Oh ack, are you serious? I got up and left like 30 minutes into the movie. pinch.gif Not even super foxtastic Hugh could save this one for me. The books are so much better than this crappy movie. I'm like a dracula junkie, and it was just far too painful to watch. pinch.gif Now, if you want to see a good movie that has both Dracula and Van Helsing in it, watch Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992 with Gary Oldman as Dracula and Sir Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing.

ick ick ick. I would have rather sat through New York Minute than see the rest of Van Helsing. Very disappointing.
