Some of your may have heard of Tutor.com, which is a paid service for homework tutoring which you can contact a tutor live. Often times only the paid ones provide instant help and the free ones (for example, createBlog.com school section) will not respond fast enough before the due date of your assignment. Even if it is answered before the assignment, but sometimes you may doubt whether the answer is correct or not. A live tutor is more professional in this case.

Problem: You want a live tutor, and you don't want to pay.

Solution: As soon as you have a library card from a regional library listed in this list, then you'll be fine. happy.gif If your regional library is not listed, you may have to look through that library's website and see whether it offers this free live homework help. This program is supported by Tutor.com.

If you are lucky enough that your library offers it, then access to your library's website and find a page that says something like "live homework help." For example, my regional library is from the Los Angeles County. Follow the instructions from that page on and there you go!

Note:
-Use Internet Explorer to use the live tutor. Make sure your pop-up blocker doesn't block pop-ups from that page.
-It might take minutes to start up the chatroom, but it is worth it. _smile.gif
-Hopefully it isn't considered as advertising, I think it is quite helpful for students. I have tried this service and I am really satisfied because it does help me with my homework.
-It is only available at many libraries from the United States and one library at Canada.
-Don't just ask your tutor for the answers, he/she will only guide you through it. Etiquette is important, so don't be rude to your tutor who is trying to help you.
-If my post doesn't clarified any problems concerned with this program, feel free to ask. And if you feel like you can add/clarify something to this post, feel free to do so too.

It varies between different tutors, I presume. Some are quite straight-forward and some aren't. That's the only drawback.

As soon as you have a library card, you can use this service for free...no need for subscriptions.

I do it similar to you, but I use this url to get access: http://www.bpl.org >> Press the advertisement.
It has two different languages. I actually like their help, some tutors take a loooong time just to reply though.
