I just started a layout site, and everything was perfect until i put the layout code in the code box. The result?: When I copied the layout code and pasted it in my look & feel, it was all scrunched up, so when i pressed "preview" the layout was messed up and weird. I tried almost ALL the code boxes but they all dont work! I even tried putting another layout code in the code boxes and the results are the same! I am VERY fustrated. please help

I even tried putting another layout code in the code boxes and the results are the same! I am VERY fustrated. please help CODE <div style='overflow:auto;width:500;height:500; color:#3399CC; font-size:16pt; font-weight:regualr; font-family:arial narrow; background-color:black; border: 5px #FFFFFF hallow;'>layout codes here</div> ^Use scroll boxes instead of codeboxes, and see if they work. |

CLICK HERE
^^ see the html in the scroll/code box? see how it has words, not pictures? << that code/scroll box doesnt allow html. Now highlight it, copy it (Ctrl-C), and paste (Ctrl-V) it in your look & feel (if you have a xanga) See how the code is all scrunched up together? now, go to the bottom of the page, and click "Preview" the layout is all messed up I hope you guys have a clearer view of the problem now if not, just note me =) |

^That xanga link is broken. Xanga gives an error when the address it put in the browser. And you can use this code for html code box, it doesn't allow html.
CODE <TEXTAREA style="BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #000000 1px solid; FONT-SIZE: 10px;
BORDER-LEFT: #000000 1px solid; WIDTH: 320px; COLOR: #000000; BORDER-BOTTOM: #000000 1px solid; FONT-FAMILY: tahoma; HEIGHT: 250px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff">codes or pictures or whatever here</TEXTAREA> |

^You're not suppose to put it into your look and feel though. It's suppose to go in the blog entry. Not unless I misunderstood.

^ but if you want the layout, you copy and paste the layout code (in the html code box ) into the custom header which is in the look & feel, then it is all scrunched up
