I don't really like Hilary Duff but I loved this picture & I thought it turned out pretty good. So here it is
 thumbed   Comments & critisism =] btw iI'm not too sure about the font & brush edit// new version It looks worse than before in my opinion thumbed  Any ideas for brushes? |

^ Regardless, very.... rainbow-y. The brushes at the corner are a mess. The font works though. Not too sure about the heart brush towards the bottom.

i'm not a fan of the corner brush either and i don't fancy the font. i mean, it's decent but i think you should choose a better one and do more with it. :)

I dont like the brush at the top. Colors are 2 strong. Other then that its cool.

the font seems to fit in fine, but yes, the brushes in the top corner sort of clashes with it. hilary also looks kinda faded and everything, maybe lower the rainbow opacity or make her more vibrant?

Err.. I'm not very fond of dark gradients, maybe you should lower the opacity and make it a little lighter. The brush really ruins it. Especially sine it's black. I'm not a big fan of the font either. Overall, I would say this is really tacky. Actually, I think most of your work is though.

It's okay. Like everyone else, I don't like the left top corner. The picture is kind of cut off at the bottom. I suggest you raise the opacity on the picture of Hilary Duff to make it stand out more.

I'd get rid of the scribble in the top left corner and the hearts. Make the font a lot smaller and dropper one of the colors in the picture for the font. As others have said, the black is way too overpowering. The top crop line cuts off part of her head. That's distracting. Unlike most others have commented, I personally like the 8 track fonts!

i liekt he colors and the textures..but the brush on the side and the font r eh..for the brushes on the top..maybe u can try overlay..to make it still there but not as obvious...but otherwise great job..the cutting i sneat

Since no one else mentioned this... THERE IS A CUT-OFF ACROSS HER KNEE! It's stupid looking.
If you're gonna do the rainbow thing, then overlay the text. the brushes would look better overlayed. A soft, feminine texture would go good here. I recommend Imagination for that sort of thing. &to avoid gradients being overkill, they should be used on Overlay, Soft Light, or Hard Light usually. Hard light is the one I like best, but that works better with very bright, colourful images. You can lower the opacity a little tho I guess... |

The outcome is great looking. Again, I'd take away the diagonal blinds, it darkens the picture too much. The brush in the corner is a bit distracting, like many others said. The colorizing has a small flaw, a little below her skirt, the rainbow stops suddenly and immediately goes into blue. It looks a little sloppy like that, just change that around a bit. The font's very nice. Just remember that there's more to graphics than brushes. |
