Hope ya all have heard Tell me when to Go by E-40 feat. Keak da Sneak.
It's about time the hyphy movement around the bay area got some national attention. It was only a matter of time before the west coast was back on top, and I think that we're getting there, especially with the debut of this video. Check out the music video http://www.westcoastrydaz.com/news/2023/

^ Learn something about the modern music industry before you start talking some un-substantiated shit.

This kind of music sells. And this song epitomizes the hyphy movement in a lot of ways.

And you gotta admit it's a sick video.

huh-huh-huh-huh-huh-hyphy

i must the only person that thinks that kead da sneak will never be anything. the reason this video might not be a hit is because of him. nationwide, nobody feels him. nobody understands a word dude is saying.. you know how i make threads like "make your own dipset verse".. if i made a "make your own kead da sneak verse" all the replys would be

dskfjajdf;;zzzhdjzhjhdzzz yadadamean sakjfdaskdzzzzuasihzdz;z;z;z;z;z;
zl;cazx;lf;dflz;;;a;z;fdz you know what im sayin zklzlkczkjz;z;z;z;z;zsdjfakfds

LOL...

im all for supporting your own, but come on we the bay need to come up with some better music

^ Me and my friends have talked a lot if keak was ever gonna make it big outside the bay. we all think........no. same reason as you. Hell, i mean, it took people in the bay a good 2 years to understand what the hell he's saying. on the other hand, in this song he's very...audible?

But the real question is. Can YOU do the thizzle dance?

Ahhhaa. I agree with that Keak tho. Its take a true bay kid a while to understand, so how long would it take for the rest of the world ? Lol.

Pshh. I gigg AND thizz , i get stupid i go dumb and i get hyphy, GET ON MY LEVEL. (;

Ahhh. I was making a Bay Slaps appreciation thread, but then my friend came over, I was distracted and ended up quitting it. I was puttin` some lyrics talkin about the bay and how we do it down here, some song links i was tryna put a video, but i couldnt, and a list of bay area rappers/underground/singers.

[Verse 2: Keak Da Sneak]
I’m off that 18 purple juice
.... Like a mayne, labeled the Black Zeus
King of the supa dupa hyphy (hyphy, hyphy, hyphy, hyphy)
And your wifey, she don’t like me (like me, like me, like me, like me)
From the Bay to the A
Put me in the back wood, Swisher sweet blunt, go to the store
Bitches wish I wrote, I said they couldn’t be saved by John da Pope
I slid past on the gas, bitches looking at me
It’s good, it’s good like the granddaddy
Cross game, you get flipped like a burger patty
Or zig-zagged... pass me a big old fatty
.... I drink white, with a snowbunny
Talking big shit in the scrapper, going hella dummy
1800, Jose Cuervo
Yaddadamean, yaddada I’m saying though

edit// damn those lyrics are wrong in a few places, i jus copied and pasted thru from a site, and i just looked at them. too lazy to fix em but u get the gist of it. :D

I love this song. I play it in my car all the time. I cant wait for E-40's album to drop next month. I also like Keak too. Ever since he made "Airplanes, Trains and Automobiles". Last week my friend Shea saw him perform at a club in the city. The one time I dont go I miss out, but I could probably see him another time.

I actually like Keak's voice. Granted this is the only song I've heard of his, but it's cool. He kinda sounds like Busta Rhymes after 15 years of chain smoking. And I could understand everything he said and I'm from nowhere near the Bay Area.

With that said, I hope the Bay Area goes big because it sounds really hot.

^ If you give me a link. I just got finished listening to a song that was labled "Super Hyphy" but I don't think that was it because I didn't hear "super" or "hyphy" once in it. But the song I listened to wasn't that hard to understand, although when he got all breathy it got difficult.

Steven, yep, that's the one I heard.

LOL, after listening to it again, that whole first line was pretty unintelligible.

He only says "hyphy" like once in the song, why is it called "Super Hyphy?"

Edit: I played my roomate the first part of that song and she was like blink.gif "What the hell is he saying? It's like he has a facial tick that makes random noises come out his mouth." rofl1.gif

^ That's the best smiley of all time.

The remix is out, featuring the Game.

It's alright, same thing except game gets his two cents in.

Weee I dig the hyphy movement =)
The lyrics make me laugh tho coz they're like
rapping about the most random things ever.

like, "THIZZ FACE THIZZ FACE THIZZ FACE!"

But I think that's one of the
reason why so many people are attracted to it
UNIQUENESS????

and since school is banning freak dancing...
might be a good song to play at dances because then
people can just gte HYPHYYY =]

i personally like them.
