Is it possible to use the binary system on a TI-83+? I can't really find anything in the manual but it's hard for me to believe a calculator that scientific doesn't have this feature.

I'm unsure what you mean here. Do you mean switching it into a mode so that it does binary math?

http://ticalc.org is a great resource if you need a program or application for it though. You'll need a link cable to transfer though.

i've used one since the 7th grade, and none of my teachers have mentioned it (i took calculus last year). i learned a bit of binary in computer science one year, and my teacher didn't mention it at all either....so, i dont think it has that mode. :|

Hm. Guess not then. Oh, and I went to that site James and all I could find was converting numbers in decimal form to binary form. Nothing helpful, but I got some great games. Thanks!

I'll close this myself.
