ehhh, my trial expired in photoshop so i was thinking of buying it. my older brother said its costs $600 & i dont believe him because that is waaaay too much just for a program. so just wondering, how much is it really? and is there anywhere that i can get a discount, or maybe even for free?
& ohh, i live in italy so im not sure if i can get the whole discount thing

You can order it or download it for $649. I think there may be a (small) student discount, but as far as getting it for free.. that type of discussion is not allowed on the boards. :) Oh, and that's for the most recent version directly from Adobe. For CS2 on Amazon, it's at about a $50 markdown, I'm not sure about other versions.. If you're worried about price, you could try Paint Shop Pro.. |

As far as the discount thing goes - are you a student? If so, give it a shot (student discount). I don't think the country you live in should play a factor as to whether or not you get a discount, but the discount (and price for that matter) will most likely be different.

Photoshop can cause a hefty dent in anyone's pocketbook. I'd buy Photoshop 7 for the 345 deal, it sounds reasonable. Photoshop 7 is good too.

but another alternative is PSP which is only 100.

I actually suggest Adobe Photoshop Emlents 4.0 if you are hell-bent on having Photoshop.
60$, not even bootleg and all you're missing is a pen tool. |
