dont be afraid of leaving the whole picture the way it is instead of cutting it out. that way when you see some of the bg of the original picture it looks like its supposed to be there. cuz you can see a tiny bit of white around the edges of her.
another way to deal with that is too use a color overlay i guess, or pattern. its a nice blend, simple too.. keep it up =) |

the blending is pretty good...u chose pictures that fitted each other well..but i dont think the bright blue of the bg goes well w/ the pics..but just keep practicing..lol..this reminds me of my first few blends..hehe

I don't really like the texture of the background. But your blending is good.

The flowers are pretty, but blue doesn't seem to fit with the images you chose. I think it might have been cool to change the hue of the images to match the blue perhaps? *sighs* She's so pretty. =)

Easy "mistake" to make. QUOTE(maryissa @ Jan 30 2006, 7:40 PM) The pictures are nice. I dont really like the affect that on top of the picture. Awesome Job though. I agree. It might look better if you put the effect on the background only. |

The pictures you used are good =]
I don't really like your blending style but it looks ok. but I suggest you do instead of grunge add more brushes or a simple pattern |

The effect you added on her makes it look like you cut out those pics straight from the newspaper... not quite appealing as a blend, I would say.

I wanted to have the feeling of it being old. The blue doesn't go with that idea though. ha I'm just trying new things to see what works and what doesn't.
