okay im trying to make a layout i have an image and im trying to make it take up the whole background and i cant seem to do it im using imageshack. helpp!

The thing is that everyone has a diff resolutions. So your background will never take up the whole screen for everyone.
But you can make it a defualt resolutions size of 1024x768 (make it smaller like less than 1000 px maybe. Anyways your best bet is to have a repeating background. But imageshack has nothing to do with it . Its your background size that matters. If you make your backgroudn rrepeat it will fit everyones resolution. |

but what if like im using thomas myspace editor to make a layout and it asks if i want to make an image a background so i get the code for a image off of imageshack but the image isent big evough to fit the whole background so yeha what do i do im kindaof confused :\

You can resize the image in photoshop or paint, but it will become grainy looking. Try to find a bigger version of that picture or find another picture all together.
