QUOTE
Another interview by another Philadelphia area radio station placed Will Smith with the "job" of answering to Bow Wow's accusations of being a bubble gum rapper. But Smith refused to respond saying that, "A grown man don't answer to no child. I'm a grown assman. I cut records before his momma let somebody cut to have him." Smith also added, "My worst movie (Wild Wild West) grossed almost twice as your best movie (Like Mike). Check the records and read a book young man."

Lately it seems like nothing can go right for Bow Wow, the 18-year old, multi-platinum, self-proclaimed "Ohio playa", as in the last week he has been belittled by some of the game's current artists and moguls. "...Yea, Paul Wall did Grillz", the no longer "Lil" Bow Wow said on a Philadelphia radio station. But surprisingly at another time on the same show, when asked about doing his grill, Paul Wall said, "What? Nah. Ain't nothin' like that. I aint even know he old enough. I think I would still have to get his parents permission."

i dont say this often but.. owned.. haha

Bow wow makes me sad. He's so pathetic in my eyes. Just scraping at any shred of fame he can get. Lets face it, the cute rap kid thing is over. Now he's just going to fade away into the halls of "Washed up child stars" like so many others. He's lucky Ciara is with him. She's about as close to fame as he's gotten in a long time. I wish he'd just try and move into another career. He's got the perfect opportunity to go behind the scenes in music and make a success of himself.

True story...

When I was just getting into DJing, I had to help a well known DJ at a teen club (since I was only 15 at the time). As time progressed, I got better, and I was not only a scratch DJ but a playlist DJ as well.

The second gig I did by myself, some short, scrawny kid walks on stage with an iced out chain and says, "Play my record." I basically scoffed in his face and proceeded to play the next track. He asked me,

"Do you know who I am?"
"Nope, don't care kid. I'm busy."

Even though he and I were the same age, you have to udnerstand that he was TINY so I thought he was 12. When the other DJ came back, he asked me what I thought of Bow Wow and pointed the little kid storming offstage. It was really him, and I didn't even know who he was, let alone care.

He's been gettin' sonned all his life.

All the kid rappers grew up. Lil Wayne was 15 when the 'Bling Bling' video was first aired. Now's he's 22 at the University of Houston.

Maybe he could've held onto the "lil" title a little longer. I mean, how tall is he? He doesn't look that tall. He could take the Lil' Kim route and use the title for his height. happy.gif

Aw... that's so sad. laugh.gif I guess he shouldn't have been insulting to Will Smith and Paul Wall.

I feel bad for the guy. Some artists have a really hard time transitioning between being a child star to being an adult star. Some never quite make the transition, or at least make it successfully.

^Don't feel bad for someone who's loaded and who's worked with one of the best producers in hiphop history. He was never a thug, he was never tough, so for him to front like he is some sort of OG, makes him a target.

He's opening up the door to let anyone in the industry son him.

I agree. "Fresh Asimiz" is the tightest song Bow Wow up to date.
