Black hair curls around my finger
Feeling it so soft and so light
While I listen to a broken hearted singer
Looking so calm and so convinced she’s right
The kissers touch on my skin seems to linger
Remaining there even in the depths of the night
And I hold her to me… tight...

I open my hand
Release the strands
Catch my breath
And I’m there

My heart is a piece of paper
Make your mark
And I will favor for you
I will pine for you

A wrinkling eye takes my stare
Meeting mine with green I never saw before
Matching my each and every daring declare
Could I cross those finger tips to lips?
Sighing lungs and rubbing hands,
What would the penalty be?
Would they chase us with their ships?

I close my eyes
Let go of your surprises
Hold my breath
Wondering if I’m really there

My heart is a piece of paper
Make your mark
And I will favor for you
I will pine for you

This is fantastic! The vulnerability/subbissiveness of this is quite effective. Good job, again! thumbsup.gif
