its for my business class. can you believe this? mr. song, hes my favorite teacher and all, but he gave us two papers to do in one weekend... we are having a guest speaker (jay patel) on tuesday, and this is for preparation.
the A) is meaning "section A" and not "answer" lol. and i really will pay someone! im 100 percent legit! i got 100% ebay feedback, and i got plenty of NT references! if i dont pay, you can ban me from cb im not expecting anybody to do all of this, any help would be APPRECIATED. just the first question QUOTE A) Paradigm Shift: What causes it? In the digital imaging world, the shift was caused because of the convinience of hte personal computer and making it easier for people to take, send, and print pictures. Making cameras digital would allow for personal image editing, photosharing over web based e-mail, and it boosted the sales of cameras. Making the switch, raised the price of cameras, but made it easier for consumers to enjoy their pictures without the hassle of getting them developed. Companies such as Kodak entered the digital business after having a long history of being a great analog film company. With the release of their digital cameras, consumers now have the ability to enhance their photos, color enhancement, blur filters, and the ability to change the size and quality of the photos. Making the switch from film to digital increased the sales of cameras and made it easier for the world to enjoy photography and image sharing. |

I think the paradigm shift occurred when Apple unified the desktop computer, laser printer and postscript. Although this change initially only impacted typesetting, it was a radical advance that introduced us to the term desktop publishing.
Additionally, when George Lucas developed the software application to edit Star Wars, it was eventually sold and marketed as Photoshop. As you may well know, Photoshop is the most popular digital imaging software program. I think these two factors are the reason for the paradigm shift in digital imaging. The downward pressure on price and availibility of these tools has changed traditional roles of photographers, designers and other professionals who utilize digital technology. |
