Ok so I like this guy and we have been friends for awhile and so I just called him one night and told him that I liked him, and after I said I liked him he said "Really? Are you serious? Well I dont know what to say... Ok bye." and then he just hung up. What do you think this means? I mean what should I do? Should I just not mention it and wait for him to say something or ask him again or something. Im really confused because I have no idea what he thinks blink.gif ermm.gif mellow.gif

Wait a little while to see how he reacts. He might just be scared, or whats the word im looking for ... Damnit.

He might just be unsure of what to do, and got off the phone because he was uncomfortable. Ask him about it, but after a while. Let him think, give him space.

he probaly got intimated and doesnt know if your the one he wants to go out with..... he probaly needs time to think it over.

when a girl tells me she likes me.. i sorta just stay quiet and not try to say anything but that's because i have a "idk" feeeling inside of me

He probably doesn't like you, but if you're going to do anything, just be patient, because if he DOES like you, he might just want time.

Well if a guy came out of nowhere and told me he liked me i'd feel really " blink.gif ".

Maybe he needs time to think it over.

Put it this way, if he likes you, he'll reply sooner or later.

i would think that he just sees you as a friend.. if you guys have been friends for a while then he should have been comfortable with you.. but now that he know that you are interested in him he might just be afraid of loosing a good friend

It sounds like you're the first person who ever told him anything like that. Given the fact that he hung up, I'm guessing he's in his early teens and is lacking experience when it comes to dating/romantic relationships. As a male, I think i_liek_sushi's response, while blunt, is accurate.
