This information would be used for Bush's appeal of the 2004 COPA law, targeted to prevent access to pornography by children. The law was struck down because it would have restricted adults access to legal pornography. Google is promising to fight the release of this information.

Invasion of privacy?
Well, for googles sake atleast. But still, I'm not sure where my stance is on this. One half, lots of people have access to googles top searched words and etc. Other half, I guess it's a breach in some way or another. |

I don't see what bush plans to do with such knowledge since he can't control most of said sites since they are usually hosted in other countries to avoid such issues.
...maybe he just wants to know some good sites for himself? |

The long arm of the law is growing! It's amazing to think that the government can supboena Google's records given the fact they (Google) are not named in the litigation that surrounds this issue. *shivers*
