There was a bomb threat at my school today. We were outside for almost two hours. Well how this all started was when a girl named Tierra who is a freshman, found a whole bunch of bomb threat notes on paper pasted on the walls in the girls bathroom. A guy named Xavier found some in the boys bathroom also. The note said the bombs were implanted in the cielings of some random class rooms, they didn't tell what class rooms. When the police arrived at our school, they made us evacuate the school immdeately. All the 700 kids at my school were on our football field. The dumb part was that the police officers didn't check the ceilings for the bombs. They only checked all of the lockers and bathrooms. So basically my friends at school and I could still get blown up tomorrow. I can't believe that they're still forcing us to go to school tomorrow!

Has this happend to any of you?

Yeah, about six years ago, at my high school, there was a rash of bomb threats—about one or two a week for a month or a month and a half. I wasn't in the high school at the time (I was in eighth grade), but my brother was. He got sent home once, but the other times, the students were just evacuated to another building for a few hours. The principal of the high school had to step down eventually, because he got sick of the bomb threats (naturally, they were all fake—they were just planted by kids who wanted to miss school) and didn't do anything after one of them was found.

Most of them were posted in the bathroom. A bunch were just written on the wall with pencil or pen. My brother was actually suspected of making one and questioned for a while, but of course, he had nothing to do with it, and the police let him go.

We had two bomb threats when I was in middle school. We were evacuated to a nearby building. The principal stepped down for us as well.

Not in my school. But there was this elementary that had a bomb threat. I don't know the complete story. It was around 3 years ago.

We had a gun threat at my old school last year.
Some kid wrote "were gonna shoot yall 2morrow", or something stupid like that, on the bathroom walls or whatever, and the teachers freaked out and sent letters home to parents.
They called the police and they were at the school the whole day.
Yeah, nothing happened, of course.

In middle school we had a guy make a fake bomb and hide it. He was going to impress some girl he liked by disarming it. The only problem was that one of the janitors found it first and called the cops. The SWAT team, bomb squad and FBI all responded. Dumbass Eric started talking about it and got arrested when the cops found out he made it. They put him in handcuffs and made him walk around the whole school to humiliate him and show everyone the administration wasn't going to cut any slack to anyone.

Yeah. We have had a few bomb threats. One time they didn't even have us leave the building. Fantastic. Another time we had a "killing spree" kind of threat.

And then, this one time, a kid pulled out a machate and a folding tree saw and f**ked shit up. We made national headlines. Cut up 7+ students. No deaths. The kid said "God" made him do it. Our vice principal Mr. Gordon tackled his ass.

School.

we had a bomb threat years ago when I wa sin the 7th grade. Some one wrote "I hate it here I'm blowing this place up at 2:00 pm friday" So we evacuated the school and everything and of course it was bogus. I mean, it was written in a stall of the girls bathroom. It was kinda scary though because we were all outsideand this giant hush fell over us at like a minute till 2. It was fine. Of course then we found out that the little note had been there for over a month. So if it was serious, we should have alreay been dead. Funny stuff lol.

My school's had it all, we have a drill for like everything every month. It gets very tedius after a while, and you think that the whole idea of it all is a waste of time, but becuase it has happened like once in the past, they feel the need to securely know where you have to go.

list of some of the bogus things my school has to do
-drill for fires
-drill for bad weather (hurricanes / tornadoes)
-drill for bomb threats
-drill for intruders
-drill for gun threats

We haven't had any dangerous stuff, except when someone pulled a fake fire alarm. Not even remotely dangerous.

However, the high school about three blocks away had an arsonist freshman who kept on setting fire in the girls' bathroom's trash cans.

Who hasn't? A girl from another high school called up the police FROM A PAYPHONE IN HER SCHOOL and made the threat. While the some policemen were at our school the others were working to track her down. The next day she was caught and it was supposed to be a prank. Shes aDumbass, if you ask me. We still waited in the hot sun for four hours before they sent us home.

Well, we thought it was over and it isn't. We had another bomb threat today, but it involved more policemen. There were 10 policemen this time, and they found some electronic stuff in the bathroom.

At my old high school, there were intruder alerts and several bomb threats for a while. We even had to have metal detectors in the school for at least a week. Pretty ridiculous because I didn't think the area or the school was that dangerous. It was just a bunch of hoodlums. Oh yeah, and there were a few bomb threats at my middle school. The idiots were standing on the roof of the apartment building across the street!

If you really, really think about it, only morons call in bomb threats. I had one a few years ago, and the way they called it in was so stupid that we were only on the football field for about 15 minutes and I think they caught the idiots sometime after that.

First of all, real killers don't need to call in bomb threats; they just do it. Only idiots reveal their plan before they do it (like the students we have in our school, apparently).

Second, when people have called in enough threats and crap like that, it just screws it for the rest of us. Because of someone's actions, everybody else has to suffer with the increased security and the stricter policies. Seriously, if this is someone's idea to get their reputation, you need a brain.

Something like that happened when I was in Elementry school..
The Department of Education got a note saying that there was a bomb in one of the schools in the district where I was. So we had a choice of going to school or not and I ended up not going to school and there was no bomb.

I was also at the school that Maestro goes to and it was really cold outside if u weren't in the sun. It's early in the morning and outta nowhere we hear a long bell ring. The teachers didn't even know what it meant; they were looking on their doors to see what that meant. Then we sit outside and walk back and forth because the people didn't know where to send us. I was ready to go home... Then just yesterday we had another one. The majority of the school is after whoever did this and it's pissing us all off. So we go back out in the cold and they tell us to go back in like 20 minutes later... This is twice in less than a week. Could they just chill out!? PLEASE.

YES! IT WAS VERY COLD OUTSIDE! I MEAN SERIOUSLY, I felt sorry for the people that were in P.E. and that had on shorts and tank tops. I seriously believe it was some stupid freshman that has no life. Even though I've heard differently. You know, I don't believe there is really a bomb in our school, because if it was they would have blown it to smitherines by now, unless they're waiting for a specific time.

Well the first and second bomb threats made the newspapers. I guess the one that happend today will be in the newspaper tomorrow. Here's a picture from the newspaper about the second bomb threat. Click the image to enlarge.

Yep we had another bomb threat yesterday. It's getting very annoying to us all. That's 3 in one week and our school is known to be the good school. We now have to sign in to go to the bathroom and sign in and out to leave the class before the block is over. And if we get caught with a cell phone we're considered a suspect and will be prosecuted. I thought it was pretty weird. Somebody in a school about an hour from us tried to make a bomb threat like one at our school and they got caught. How STUPID!! And just yesterday somebody in a school 30 minutes from us called their school and threatened them with a bomb. This is getting outta control. I wish I knew this group of people who are doing this so I could get these thousands of dollars that are being rewarded to whoever gives hints that lead to an arrest. I will just hope for now we don't have another one tomorrow or anytime in the future.

Wow, that's pretty serious right there. Someone in your school must have big issues to deal with, then.
Anywho, nothing like that has ever happened to our school before - I just recall one time when I was in 4th grade, there was this one guy/intruder, and we all thought it was just an intruder drill.

I brought this topic back because we recently had a bomb/gun threat at our school because someone was attempting to mock the Virginia Tech incident. Has this happened at any of your schools?

^What's a spoiler button. Anyway, this has happened to the local college too. They had to be immediately evacuated and the college was closed for two whole days. They came to find out that someone planned to bomb the school, because someone found a map of all the major dorms.

Yupp.
Its a long story.
Some dude started sending out text messages and some how it got like around to everyone Well not everyone but to enough people that the word got spread around quickly.
It stated that he was gonna make RHS the next VA Tech becuase kids used to tease him.
He said he was going to blow the school up.
When we got to school the next day,All the students were outside and the poice men were in the school searching.
Anywho..To make a long story short it was just some kid that I guess felt like playing a prank.
