banner spacing, help plz Options

i have a sort of banner at the very top of my xanga, its like two different things and i wanted to have them seperated but i cant figure out how. here's the codes i made:

and i cant get the bottom one seperate from the top one, i can only get them a few spaces apart. help plz!
