Im a major fan of Marilyn Manson, along with his band (if you cant already tell.)
I was just curious how many fans i can find on here.... i know it can be pretty hard even durring social situations to find someone who isnt going to stare at me while i wear one of their shirts.. and just glare.. so out of curosity (which, didnt it kill the cat?) i was wondering whos a fan, and who is going to tell me he ' had some ribs removed to sucks his own cock'.. or something to that nature.

Marilyn Manson isn't exactly the greatest person out there but his music definitely sends a strong message. I'm a fan of a few of his songs. I'm not TOO much into the more Anti-Christ songs (which is about 60-70% of his music).

I've listened to his music for about 4 years now, and I can safely say that no one in the music industry today had a voice that works as well with the synthetic sound of the music as well as Marilyn Manson.

His voice works with his backdrops so well and it just sounds great.

in 8th grade i was a faithful christian and suicidal. i spent a week in a hospitol after my mom sound out i wanted to die and they put me on medication and everything. it didn't really help much. i was still alive.

then, one morning, i was watching MTV, like i always used to do while getting ready for school. manson's new video for "the fight song" came on and i watched closley. i'd always been kinda into him but kinda scared. then the chorus came up, being "i am not a slave to a god that doesn't exist..." and that was the first time i thought of the possibily that there was no god. that chorus stuck with me in my head and the usual S*** happend daily like it does. then it was about late august, 2001, that i just threw it down and decided to have no god. and ya know what? i've never felt better. if there was anything weighing me down it was god. life is so much better without one. and if i'm goin to hell, so be it. a small price to pay for not being some depressed sheep scared of wrath. i'd like to thank manson for giving my life meaning. without him i'd probably be slain at my own hands by now.

it was 5 months after i was as suicidal as i ever was. the pieces were coming together and it just seemed most appealing to me, and it turned out to be the best choice. i'm seriously happier than i've ever been since i discarded any faith.

Yes freewill does turn us away from God, but what causes these upstarts? Really, it's what the world tells us and what satan tells us. to really think about it we were created perfect, satan ruined it with the world. But really the choice is yours, but God uses this freewill for his good purpose, if you chose not to follow and turn away thats your chose but not the good choice. For God uses freewill in his mighty plan for us.

God does not let his people go, we let ourselves go. We were created in his image, we are his flesh in blood so to speak, we are his people. He loves us, he would never let us go. For God is the almighty, the creator, and he is loving. God wouldn't let us go, but come looking for us. It's us who let ourselves go and follow satan, for satan wants us but with a hatred, but God loves us with his love.

I'm in 8th grade and still 13 and im proud that i cleansed myself of unjust music. Like u i was a metal freak, rock freak, and all i did was cuss out people and wanna start fights. but not anymore, ever since i started listenning to christian music. To think about it in the 1980's there was a computer, it was the garbage computer and it was programmed with the fact that if garbage comes in, garbage comes out. Humanity is very similiar to this system, what we take will come out eventually, what we listen to, what we hear, what we speak it will evetually come out. So it's up to us to listen to Marilyn Manson or not, i did and i stopped and i changed. So to challenge people here in this forum, what will you do?

Really, it's what the world tells us and what satan tells us. to really think about it we were created perfect, satan ruined it with the world. But really the choice is yours, but God uses this freewill for his good purpose, if you chose not to follow and turn away thats your chose but not the good choice. For God uses freewill in his mighty plan for us.



God does not let his people go, we let ourselves go. We were created in his image, we are his flesh in blood so to speak, we are his people. He loves us, he would never let us go. For God is the almighty, the creator, and he is loving. He wouldn't let anyone of us go, for in the bible it mentions as a sheperd brings his flock together even if it took him years to find just 1 missing lamb. God wouldn't let us go, but come looking for us. It's us who let ourselves go and follow satan, for satan wants us but with a hatred, but God loves us with his love.

ryfitadf i think your a really nice person, but sometimes evil music, the things we listen to can ruin the nicest person to the meanest. I was in that path just a few months ago. I'm in 8th grade and still 13 and im proud that i cleansed myself of unjust music. Like u i was a metal freak, rock freak, and all i did was cuss out people and wanna start fights. but not anymore, ever since i started listenning to christian music. To think about it in the 1980's there was a computer, it was the garbage computer and it was programmed with the fact that if garbage comes in, garbage comes out. Humanity is very similiar to this system, what we take will come out eventually, what we listen to, what we hear, what we speak it will evetually come out. So it's up to us to listen to Marilyn Manson or not, i did and i stopped and i changed. So to challenge people here in this forum, what will you do?

I have read most of these replys, and i am very happy. Not just with the fans, people who at least said "i like some songs", but for those of you who let our your total discust for him. Thank you, i will not judge you, i am glad to have your opinion.
I have not read these until today, yes i am really lame for not even keeping track of my own creation on here.
Some one asked me some of my favorate songs by him, they include:

Those are some of my favorates... i think Mechanical Animals was the best cd, it was so much more mellow than Antichrist which came before it, and Holowood that came after. The way that The Speed Of Pain started out is amazing, and i am very sad to have heard that John 5, their lead guitarest is gone.
Back to the subject of those of you who said 'he is antichrist' or 'antichristian'... someone wrote that you guys should read the book he wrote, and i fully agree. He went to christian school as a child, and he tried so hard to fit in. IT got to the point where he had brought a picute which looked like there was an angel in it, that his grandmother had taken out of an airplane. He brought it, showed it to his class, and he was told it was a hosk, got in trouble, and sent some. This was his 'most honist atempt to fit in, and i was shut down for it'. He was little, after this he felt like he would never belong there, and that was the 'begining' i guess you can say, of this 'Antichrist' attitude most hate him for. He would have nightmares, that still continue to this day, where the AntiChrist would come to earth and he would have to choose between good and evil. He had dreams in which he found out he was the antichrist, and it scared him.
I do strongly urge you all to read the book The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell, or at least try to read it. As much as you can, just learn about him before you hate him. Would you hate someone who you worked with, just because you heard someoen you didnt even know saying something 'evil' about them? Would you atomatically hate them for it? Or would you give them a chance, maybie try to figure out if it was true or not? Cant you see, if you dont at least read this and say you hate him, your not giving him a fare chance. I can understand you beign pissed at him for the aginst god, and revrend to the head of Satinism thing, but comon now. The God Of fudge, haha.

Marilyn Manson is like a dagger in our spiritual lives, everyday you let him go into your lives and let him take over you with his music, the life plunges deeper and deeper, to the point where your going to feel numb and be far from God. So my challenge to those christians in this forum, is that you would make a stand and just stand out against marilyn manson's music, and proclaim to the world that we will not stand for this anymore and to convert people who listen to marilyn manson to just stop and show them the Lord. For the youth of this nation has more power than we could ever speak of, we have the power to stop things we have the power to make things grow. what will be your choice? for as a follower of God i will choose to stop this madness and try to bring him down. For this man has corrupted your minds, now let us walk with God and stop listenning to him. For those who are christian and listen to marilyn manson, please stop, pray to God, pray to him to give you the strength to reestablish your walk with God. Manson is great for what he is. He never really tried to claim that he was the antichrist. That was an image the media forced upon him after Columbine. He took a hugh hit after that happened. He had to take a break and everything cuz he got so stressed out from the media. If you haven't seen Farenheit 911, you should. They interview Manson and it really shines some light on how he really is. Also read his autobiography "Long hard Road Out of Hell". He's had a f**ked up life and I think he turned out ok despite that...

I don't understand why you condemn Manson so quickly. He's not Satan, or Satan-like. He's just a man who has been through a lot of really difficult things and has chosen a lifestyle and has personal tastes that don't fit the norm. I'd also like to correct the post before mine, cuz Manson is a Satanist. Satanism is not about being evil, killing children or being scary. It's about putting yourself first and loving yourself the most.

The naked women video is the video for "Mobscene" and it's a pretty tasteful video. No worse than some of Amy Lee's wardrobe choices in some of her videos. I'm not going to slam Evanescense or Amy Lee just because I don't like her choice of clothing or religious beliefs (from what I understand, she is Christian).

What does being goth have to do with it anyway??? Manson isn't really goth, but then again, no modern music is really goth. Unless you listen to Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, The Cure and such, then you probably don't have any idea what goth is anyhow....Goth is NOT buying your whole wardrobe from Hot Topic and doing your make-up to look like you're dead or something. Goths are just people who like the darker side of life and Manson qualifies as a goth in that aspect.
