Pink slip refers to certificate of title. It shows who owns a vehicle. It doesn't expire. It's transferred.

yeah, pink slips are like the deed to a house. it just is for ownership of the vehicle.

are you guys talking about the pinkslip as in the certificate of the completion of a drivers ed course that is needed if you are a minor and wish to take the permit test?
