Mormons are known for giving out their Book of Mormon and discussing the religion with people. Have you ever accepted a Book of Mormon from one, or come across one in another manner?

Admittedly, I am in possession of a Book of Mormon.

Honestly? I only have like a mail in coupon for a free one. I just kept that for the picture. Not too interested in reading the actual book. Maybe one day.

I have one. It's actually a part of this Book of Mormon, Doctorine of Covenants and Pearl of Great Price (I think). I haven't opened it since the 7th grade (oh.. like 15 years ago or so lol). My whole family (extended as well) is Mormon, with the exception of myself and my little boy.

Nope but a lot of my friends in Arizona were Morman. I have read through it a couple times and I always asked them questions. Mormans are actually very nice, hilarious people. They don't have seven moms, most likely just seven brother and sisters.

Nope. I know a few Mormons (which actually helped me win catchphrase last night, but that's irrelevant), but they aren't the type to spread the religion and I'm hardly going to seek the book on my own.

It was very amusing though- when we were going over Mormonism in history, it was mispelled as "the Moron faith" three times.

In all fairness, there are some pretty crazy concepts in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I certainly don't mean to offend anyone, but after I spoke with some Mormons for a an hour or so and got the details of the religion, I did find much of it to be rather...well, crazy, to be honest.

What the f**k is Korea Soul West?

Also, why would your brother go to Korea as a missionary?
It's not like it's a 3rd world country and everybody is a cannibal.
Thye have good variety of religions. I don't see why he needs to go there.

Christians send missionaries to a lot of places that are non-Christian, not just third-world countries. A Mormon friend of mine is a missionary in Canada right now, for instance.

Yes. Garments and they're sacred and as I understand it, it has to do with protection (I believe). I remember walking in on my mom once when I was young (like when the earth cooled :/) and she was wearing them. Single most gross thing I had ever seen in my life (at that point lol). Anyway, yes, they do wear special underwear but ONLY if they get married in a Mormon temple or are going on a mission (I think they need what's called "endowments.")

My friend is a mormon but he's ashamed of it (secretly). His parents asked if he ever gave me a book of mormon and I would get all confused, but he would answer for me and say he did...even though he never brought it up (he never even brings up his religion in the first place) He wears ordinary clothes even though it's against his teachings. His parents are letting him convert which is weird if you ask me. I heard if a mormon child is converting they get disowned.

Well, what's odd is that this random guy that looked like a tourist came up to us one day in the Wal-Mart parking lot and offered it to us for free.
We're Catholic.
We're not Mormon.
So then we just politely said no thanks and drove away.
