Hay yall. Im making my first background for Myspace and im having trouble figuring out the web page size and image size that i should use.
 Any ideas?? (Im using Adobe Photoshop & ImageReady) |

Well there is no direct size. Its different for all computers and all resolutions..
some people have 800 x 600 so there pages show that small.. others have 1024 x 768 which is standard size. So if you make a background for full page I suggest that size since its most standard Others have 1280x 768(?) which is a bigger one. There are bigger ones than this but 1024x768 is standard and you should use that i guess. |

My computer screen is 1024 x 768, and at first that is what i put my image size to. but when i but it on my Myspace the image was cut off, it was too big.
Oh on Image Ready it says: Web Page (600 x 500) You think that would work? |

It would be smaller. You can make the size any size you want. Usually I use pattern backgrounds make the size small and then let them repeat the whole page. SInce they end up looking betterthat way..
That size seems small but you can go ahead and make it and see how it looks in myspace. |
