I know how to change my screen resolution on a Windows XP Home Edition Pc, but when I change it to 1024 x 768 everything looks small. Is there a way I can make it larger?

Yeah, it suppose to be like that i think, mines seems small, but it's still readable & I can go along with it. I think this might work.

Right click on you're desktop, anywhere but not on the icons. Go to properties --> Appearance. Then change whatever you're suitable too.

But there's not anything there that lets me make stuff larger.

Well, of course it gets smaller. The resolution gets bigger, but the size of your monitor stays the same. As a result, everything looks smaller, but you have a lot more workspace. If you're trying to make everything bigger, change to 800x600.

If it just looks small in general, there are buttons on your monitor. Adjust the settings until they fit to your liking.

You can change the size of your icons, text, etc. seperately in the Appearence options.
