i need some help knowing time and all.....i dont understand what GMT is or EST mean.what is 13:00?i know thats military time,my mother told me a lecture about that but i wasnt paying attention.i need to know everything about it.yah and....i checked if there was another topic like this.... i didnt find one.

^ rofl, i was going to summarize, but she beat me to it.

anyway, in simpler terms (assuming you're young), the world is separated into different time zones because of the way the earth rotates. For example, where I am in California, it's PST (Pacific Standard Time)12:26, but over in the east coast EST (Eastern Standard Time) it will be 2:26 (14:26)

13:00 is such 1:00
you keep going on the number line after 12:00
so
12:00 = 12:00
1:00 = 13:00
2:00 = 14:00
3:00 = 15:00
4:00 = 16:00
5:00 = 17:00
etc

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, but the person above me already explained that.
