For the most part, most of us are nothing more than screennames and links to networking and blogging mediums.

Lets take the opportunity to get to know each other. Feel free to ask someone (in here) a few questions about them; something that has always interested you about the person. Try to maintain proper decorum, but make an effort to reach out to someone instead of wondering what someone is really like.

I'm an open book. So I guess yous can all start by asking me something. cool.gif

This should be fun...

OH, we did this in the cBchat awhile ago when no one was talking.
Hi, my name is Sally Chou, and I am not a fob. I am, however, full on asian (chinese, mandarin) and yes, I do speak the language. I'm 15, a lot younger than a lot of you. California, Bay Area, Milpitas. Interests include sports (tennis, swimming, sometimes basketball but I haven't played for the team ever since I reached high school), and overall, I'm a pretty laid back person. I don't really let anything get to me too hard. Currently a sophomore, I'm already planning for college. Top choice as UCLA, but I know I won't get in, so I'm settling for UCDavis (if I can get into that too). I plan on doing something in the study of Biology (yeah, I know I'm asian). I am very consistent with my schoolwork as many of you know me from cBchat -.- Um, actually, I'm not as smart as you think. Really.

Kay, any questions?

Oh, and my favoritestestest people are Julia, ebff (blue team), and red team, because they're just that awesome.

Question for Brandon: What sparked your interest in motorcycles?
Question for Sally: Why are you in denial, fobface?

Well, here I go. My name is Radhika Raman, I'm 13 years old, and I'm Indian. (From India. Not Native American.) I live in Sugar Land, Texas (yes, it's an actual city) and I'm addicted to createBlog. I love reading and books, and people think that I'm older than I really am. I'm an atheist with Hindu parents, (always fun) so don't you dare proselytize at me. Wanna get to know me more?

Name's Eddie V. I'm Thai, Chinese and Puerto Rican, although I can only speak Thai. My girlfriend is a beautiful Brazilian/Ecuadorian girl. I'm 18 years of age and I go to City University of New York's College of Staten Island. I currently reside in Jersey City, NJ. My hobbies are, music, martial arts, wrestling, and professional gaming. Aside from that I also have other hobbies such as toy collecting, Star Wars, modeling, and taking pictures of my self. I can be a very arrogant person, and at many times cocky, although on the up-side, I am a very caring person, and a nice person to everyone. Not one of those guys that are just nice to the people they like.

Any questions?

Radhika...
I grew up in Delaware, so as a kid I witnessed the uprising of black motorcycle clubs like the Ruff Ryders, Legion of Doom, etc. When I was about 12, my oldest cousin copped one and I made it a point to learn as much as possible about them. Now that I'm wise to makes, models, aftermarket parts, repair and, most notably, the stuntin' game, its pretty much consumed me. Passion. Truth.

Hmm..

Hello, people. I'm a 16-year-old junior from the Washington DC Metro area. I attend a large, public International Baccalaureate school, and I'm pretty satisfied with it, although I can't wait to get to college. I'm generally pretty introverted and serious about virtually everything, although I'm usually pretty talkative. I'm an optimistic person with cynical tendencies. I'm addicted to rather random foods, such as craisins and easy mac and breathsaver mints. I like talking to interesting people; it makes me happy. I learn best through communication and exchanging ideas. I like math; I hate math class. Global affairs, politics, and good literature interest me because they are very much analyze-able. I rarely watch television anymore; I'm addicted to the Internet. :]

Question for Eddie: From where does your interest in entrepreneurship originate?
Question for "yo pusha" and Brandon: Explain the shoe obsession, please. I never quite understood it.

Answer to Mindy's question: I like service and working with people, and from what I see I can get along with any type of person. So I would like to work in the business industry, mainly sales, although my ideas have changed throughout these months, now I am currently persuing a career in Hotel Management, which comes from my service mind.

Mindy...
You're seemingly intimidating inteligent presence is really attractive, just don't become too introverted and analytical.

As for my obsession with kicks, and looking nice in general...
I was always brought up to keep myself looking as nice as possible. No matter where I'm going, or how I'm dressed (casual or formal), I need to look as clean as possible. As a young Black man, I'm not taken as seriously as I should be. By taking pride in my appearance and being presentable at all times, it will give me further advantage in the world. No, clothes do not make the man; but they can break him.

And, I think Bapes are just a next level of ill. cool.gif

I'm introverted in the fact that I need time alone to recharge and collect my thoughts. Please don't associate introvertedness with being shy or reserved, if that's what you're referring to.

And I will always be hyper-analytical. :]

Hi, I'm Steven!

Shoe collecting is more than an obsession, with shows like "It's The Shoes" on ESPN, the sneaker culture is getting more mainstream now. Before the last five years, sneaker collecting was all about buying what you liked, and sneaker prices weren't that high. Nowadays, It's all about "hype". The newest Jordan, the newest Dunk SB, etc. It's the same reason people collect Star Wars action figures, rare books, etc

Every sneaker has a story. I had to camp out for 17 hours only to get charged ridiculous prices for Tifanny Dunks. I spent hours refreshing eastbay in order to buy Flint XIIIs for retail.

It's not even about getting the new jordans to impress females, it's about camping two days overnight at Niketown to get these beautiful sneakers that cost 30 dollars to make in a sweatshop in Vietnam but are selling for 150 dollars.

No way.

Here in the Bay Area, we are much more sophistacated than the typical Chicago/DC/LA outfit of AF1s and Jerseys. We appreciate "good" music (although i don't know about these local bay area artists), innovative clothing, and the Dunk SB.

I couldn't survive in the Northeast anyways, out here I think 60 degrees is freezing cold.

I sell shit! Mostly bootleg CDs, but the supply and demand of sneakers is so high, it is easy to make a 30-50 dollar profit by buying two or more pairs of the same sneaker and flipping them on ebay.

QUOTE
steven you sound like me now.. explaining to my parents why i need shoes.. !!
how much did you `cop them tiffany`s for? i saw them but never the price...

NIKE sets the suggested retail for all Dunk SBs at 65.00. Depending on your local skateshop, you can find them anywhere from 80.00 to 300.00 depending on the "hype" surrounding the item.

The demand for Tiffany dunks were so high, my local skateshop (Circle-A) didn't even tell us the price, but they usually charge resonable prices. About 80-120 people were camping out for 17 hours in line, at 5 AM the manager Bob comes in and fixes up the shop to look nice. Then he posts a paper on the window that says

$250.00

We had no idea that Kobe Bryant owned the shop!! In other words, we got raped!! 2/3rds of the line left, and the other half payed 250. I am never going there again.

Hello. My name is Steven who had been around Createblog for a long time. I considered myself one of the early members even though I joined Createblog.com a month after Xangan.com was renamed.

I was born in California, USA in the year of ’91 in a county of Los Angles. (SoCal) Therefore, my 15th birthday is next month in January. Yeah. I seem to be an immature person but more responsible and analytical in real life.

Interest: digital camera, web designing, Photoshop, and serving real-life community.

Like: do art, classic RPG music, foreign music, computer, eating, awesome friends, and being able to communicate with friendly people. (I’m kind of shy and anti-social)

Dislike: stubborn, rude people, blackmailer, shit friends, and haters.

I’m a peace loving person who’s very independent, hoping to achieve my social abilities, and overcome my negative mental desires/attitude to people.

Maia, give me a brief bio.

As for me, I only care about writing and motorcycles. I'd like to someday start my own magazine publication highlighting the culture of urban motorcycle clubs but also allow it to incorporate the interests of the common man. Sports, fashion, technology, women, food, etc. Until then, I hope to get on board with one of the juggernauts and be a writer.

In addition to that, I'd like to open up a motorcycle garage that specializes in customs. But not only do I want to just open a garage, I'd like to open it in LA and have it be the epicenter of all things on two-wheels.

On the way to these, I'll continue ghostwriting for local rap artists, DJing and producing tracks.

answer to brandon's question: i would love to be a journalist for a big newspaper. writing is definitely a passion of mine. many people live to work. i'd rather work to live. and instead of going to college straight out of high school, i want to take a year off and travel around europe. traveling is something else that i love to do, and i want to travel as much as i can during my life.

Well hopefully I can spearhead a lifelong campaign to make motorcycles a household deal. Of course, sportbikes are my focal point; I'd like for Motorcycle Stunting to be heralded with extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX biking, FMX, etc. I'd like to see brothas running to get a Hayabusa and chroming it out like they run to get a whip with 20s and I'd like for bikes to be the pinnacle of style (if the whether permits) of all vehicles.

Ooh, I like this topic.

Hi. I'm Julia. I'm a 14 year old (yes, i am younger than you.) Taiwanese girl that lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Nope, I'm not a fob. I've lived in the USA all my life, minus the visits to Taiwan and such. I am currently a freshman in the IB program at my high school, but it's only pre-IB. It's fun, ehh. Yeah, anyway, my favorite subject in school is world history. My least favorite subject in school is biology. Actually, I don't like anything to do with science. The subject is fun, but honestly, I'd rather not learn about cell respiration and how proteins work. I'm usually a nice person, but I can get a little sarcastic sometimes. I guess it's natural. I really am a moody person, and yes, it sucks. But...ah well. I can't change that. I really can be a fun person, though. I enjoy joking around with friends and laughing at stupid things. x] Most people know that already, though. I've been around cB for a whileee. My two year anniversary w/ createblog is actually coming up, hahah. Alright, well, I don't know how to end this so...questions?

I'm mainly friends with the mods and people in the cb chat =) sally and sandy are my lovererers, hahah. I'm definitely willing to get to know other people, though! IM me at joooooleeah or PM me.

edit:/ Ohhh. MUSIC! I enjoy music. It's like my life. My favorite band is Daphne loves Derby. <333 They are amazing. Kenny Choi is hot live, lol. x3

What does everyone want out of life? Ultimately what are your career goals?
I would like to work in international affairs, specifically global development or conflict analysis. I really need to take college courses in order to decide. Globalization is exciting; I'd like to be a part of it.

Well, Mindy, I guess one goal I would like to make is to take some affect on the community. I've taken part in STAND, and I'm up for reaching out. I'm also interested in joining anyone in a missions trip to Mexico, Mongolia, etc for evangelism as well.

That's a good question, Brandon.

Right now I'm getting ready to start my first year as a college student. Of course, with this in mind, I have very high hopes. I plan on finishing out for a bachelor's degree in Psychology, then taking the time to put that degree to some sort of use by becoming a clinical psychologist for the military.

That might sound strange, but my family was stationed overseas in Guam (where I'm originally from) when the war in Iraq first began. My house was right near the barracks, so I befriended many of the young residents there. War came and them were shipped of in hoards. When they came back, they weren't the same, and since most of them were fresh out of high school without any family there, they were in need of an open ear and an open mind to help them cope. I really felt like I had a purpose. To see them being able to tell the stories of horrors they experienced, to be able to open up, break down, and let themselves be picked up again. It moved me. If I can do that with my life, I'll be happy.

After that I may continue and go for my Ph.D, but if not, we'll see where life takes me.

J'ai des questions.

Are you happy with your life?
Do you see your life heading in a good direction?
As of now, are your thoughts more past, present, or future-oriented?

This is starting to sound like a psychological support session. ><

Well, perplexism, I'm somewhat happy. Yes. I make presents for all of you! What a joy!

My life, well...after Christmas, sadly, it will be heading downhill...I'll have to make presents for another 365 days! unless it's leap year? I haven't checked the fatmans calander.

My thought right now are of course of the future! Because tomorrow it will be Christmas! And you'll all recieve my gifts!
