been working on a new layout and wanted to know if i could do some new things...

* how can you have custom modules running down either side of your blog ?

* how do you shift where your blog sits on the page? (positioning etc.)

*can you add a sort of floating images thing INSIDE just the blog? (example: click)

* and also how to add a transparency thing on the blog part? (example: click)

help appreciated!

I'm not sure how to do that; Maybe someone with more knowledge can help you.

It's called DIV positioning. Here's more info on how to do it. http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67476

I'm guessing you could use this http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67476 script in all your entires...but I'm not sure that would work. And for just the blog area, she used an animated image as her background.

This is in the Scripts section also, just look.
