Radioblog.. doesn't really help, It doesn't protect files...

Well, I saw the topic about converting to .rbs, and it got me thinking. This isn't really a problem, more like a weird discussion thing. But.. That's what the webmasters' corner is for, right?

Anyway, I downloaded a .rbs file from someone's radioblog, right? And then I just changed the .rbs to .mp3, and it worked fine. So all this converting to .rbs to protect people from having the mp3 is completely unecessary, because they can easily be converted right back. So, basically, it's an mp3 file sharing site.

..Except for the fact that probably no one has done this. I think.

Well? Thoughts? Something?

the reason they use rbs files is so that it can be loaded into the radioblog flash player. it also takes up less space.

i think you need to do some reading.

rbs files arnt made to protect the content. They're just mp3's renamed and recompressed.
