And as he went,
What did he see?
A fortune so great--
It is a mystery!

The Creature in the Painting,
Lives far, far away.
He smiles and frowns,
But lets his expressions sway.

The Creature in the Painting,
What a genius is he!
How beautiful his loneliness;
What a creature to see!

The Creature in the Painting,
How unique be his seasons:
From a crispy, orange autumn
To a winter so silent and serene.

The Creature in the Painting
Has a queer, sharp action:
He intends to escape
From his unknown factor.

The Creature in the Painting
Lives in the dreams of all.
He enchants greetings,
Leaving a spark of delight.

The Creature in the Painting
Recites a rhythm so smooth,
That one wonders how he makes
A tone so bright.

The Creature in the Painting
Holds a wrinkle in his hand.
How dim and deaf it can be to us,
But so sprightly in this land.

A note is scribbled
To the death of his journey,
For time ceases,
Never to be found.

"What is my purpose here?
What do I mean?
How can I rely on this magic
Right within me?"

The Creature of the Painting
Decided to forget...
...Forget all the thoughts,
All thoughts this moment spreads.

But since then on,
He reminisces a vague
Question;
It lingers in a trap.

A sheer, elegant memory
Is erased from his mind.
But the Creature of the Painting
Shall never remember...

That's extraordinary writing! Great job! showoff.gif The look in the mirror this piece demonstrates depicts an uncanny maturity and wisdom. More, please!
