Yes, it is a virtual ball. Yes, it's in the IRC chat, which has been stated many, many times. It's a bonding experience for Createbloggers since CB has gotten so big and not a lot of us know eachother as well as we used to.

It's a cute thing, and an excuse to pair up with someone, and an excuse to get everyone together to talk and get to know eachother. I don't see the problem with it. Think of something better.

commands to know:

/nick username- changes your username. example- /nick testname will change your username to testname

/msg username message- sends your message to the username so that only they can see it.
example- /nick testname hello how are you? will send a message to testname only saying "hello how are you?"

please use this for messages to a specific person, so avoid crowding up the channel. but of course, talking to everyone is allowed.

/me action- displays your username and then the action. [i] example- /me throws a penguin will show "yourusername throws a penguin"
