Yeah, some pretty old and frail seniors at the Senior Center (I volunteered there once or twice for community service), and it's sad, honestly.

My great aunt had it. It was soo depressing. After her husband died, it got worse. Once she was offered a puppy to help her feel not so lonely and she just said "Well I have to wait until my husband gets home from work and ask permission" I was like.. woaah.

^ yeah after my grandpa died it really pushed her alzheimers farther. she takes cups and doesn't know it. you can't leave sharp things near her. she tried to brush her teeth with a raxer one day.

^He.he.
My great grandmother has it. I really don't like visiting her in the homes because it makes me sad. She rarely remembers who her own daughter is, let alone her great grandkid. |

Please don't joke about it, it's a very serious illness. My great aunt died of it. It was the scariest thing in the entire world. She used to get mad at my great uncle (her husband) because she though he was kidnapping her. Once we found her under the dock sitting in a little ball. When she died she didn't know who anyone was, she called her own sister (my grandmother) a devil in disguise. It was really sad. |

My grandma has it. It's sad, most people with the disease don't want to admit that they have it, so it makes it hard to give them treatment. We just had to watch her mind drift away, and now she can't even finish a sentence. It's a very sad thing to watch.
