When I had all four of mine pulled out, my diet consist of congee, chicken soup, mashed potato and gravy, yogurt, and lots of homemade shakes (avocado, strawberry, banana).

Try making Cup o' Noodles. :D They're convenient for breakfast and lunch.
For dessert, just try soft foods such as yogurt, jello, cake [haha, tempting] &such. All in all, just start with the soft foods and as the pain gets better, slowly work your way up the food pyramid. |

Soup, soft cereal and milkshakes are best. Ice packs alleviate some pain as well, in addition to meds of course.
