I don't know what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. Actually, I've already gotten him a CD of someone he likes, a pair of boxers and this 'professional thumb wrestling' arena thing (inside joke of ours). I've only been serious with him for about 2 months, so I'm not quite sure how much to spend on him. Of course it's the thought that counts, but I don't want to underspend or overspend, you know? He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him to 'surprise me', so that doesn't really work to my advantage. How can I do it right without spending too much (making him feel bad), or spending too little (making me feel bad)?

And also.. to make this a little more useful-- I've noticed that there have been many threads about being absolutely clueless as to what to get your significant other for Christmas. So I thought it would be a good idea to just pile all of our ideas into one thread.

Now, I realize that many of you have answered with replies such as, "You know them better than we do". But that doesn't take away the stress and it doesn't solve any problems! So.. let's try to help each other out, eh? Generic ideas are good.. or anything besides the usual "scrapbook.. stuff you know they like.. a cd"... is good too! Anything!

Okay thanks for your ideas.. I'll be back with some ideas if I think of anything good.

You could get him a:

-A nice watch
-something personalized. [engraved]
-A wallet.
-A shirt, sweater, scarf,etc.
-If you don't like the scrapbook idea, make a handmade book of a story on how you guys met or something that happened between you guys that was memorable. That's what my BF did. <3

Well, last year on Christmas, my boyfriend and I had gone out for about a month. I just wrote him a love letter in the form of a heart, bought a stuffed bear that reminded me of him, and baked him a cake. I also made him a mix CD of our songs.
