So there's this guy, Guy E, in my grade. I only liked him for a while in Grade 9, but figured that he didn't like me back, so moved on to other guys. Found out in Grade 11 that he's liked me since Grade 8, but I guess he didn't have the guts to tell me earlier. He then asked me to be his gf, and as I was recently dumped by a guy, didn't feel ready for a boyfriend, and I didn't like him more than a friend, so I said no. And told him that being friends was all I want with him. And he said okie. So we continue on being friends. We talk for a bit on MSN. But then he started showing off infront of me, and boasting about his marks, and I told him I didn't like it. And he kept on doing it, so I blocked and deleted him, and pretty much forgot about him.
So now, we haeve something call "Christmas Grams" in school that they deliever to the person that you bought it for. It's a card, and a small gift. And I got one from him. And inside it's got a poem that he's wrote for me. And in it, he implies that he wants us to be more than just friends...and I don't want that because I'm interested in another guy, and he just asked me out to see a movie with him next week. So I was wondering, how do I reject him...? I already told him that I don't have any romantic feelins for him, and that friends is about as far as I'm willing to take things with him...and I thought that he got the message, but apparently not...so any help would be appreciated. |

just straight out tell him that you don't feel that way anymore, and you're currently interested in someone else.
don't give in to someone that's persistent who really likes you but you don't share at all the same feelings he has, it just won't turn out fun for either one of you. |

That's a really hard situation. I have gone through times when I had a few guys who liked me at the same time, but I didn't like them back. Anyway, if you were nice about telling him, then you have to be more straight-forward. Whenever a guy likes me, I tell him straight out. I just want to be friends and I leave it like that. In the past, I would ignore them or talk less to them and they will get the point. But now, I will just tell them and act the same way that I do around them. But I have never gone through what you're going through. The reason why he's not giving up is really due to the fact that he has liked you for so long and such. & when you said you figured out he didn't like you in the past, did you ask him or what?
Just tell him off. If he still bothers you, ignore him completely. Even after that, if he doesn't stop, I really don't know what to do. Tell someone to help you tell him off or something? Or just tell him that there's no chance between you two and such. One good thing about me is that if some guy does that to me and I don't like him back, my crush, he would make them stop. Like beat them up or something >< Well that's my own story, but yea. If he doesn't, just tell him straight out. & don't be nice about it. It will only get worse if he doesn't stop soon and it's not like you want him to do anything crazy to hurt himself or you, right? |

Well, telling him you're interested in another is the truth but it hurts. Say you'd really like to keep the friendship, the whole friendship, and nothing but the friendship.

sinces the message of you only wantin to be friends with him was told, but jus didnt get through to him there isnt much u can do but to continuely remindin him that being friends is farest it can go. n wen he ask u go to out, imply on requestion if u can invite other friends to come along to and stuff, cause ur not comfortable with the idea of just you two.
